This is a careful translation of the German Version. In the event of ambiguity or dispute, only the original German Version («Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen (AGB)») shall be legally binding.

1. General

The spelling of these Terms and Conditions includes all genders.

The General Terms and Conditions (GTC) comprehensively regulate the business relationship and services between camrigs.ch and its customers. The GTC can be adapted to new needs at any time. Only the edition published at the time of the order is binding.

If parts of these GTC become void, impracticable or legally ineffective, the rest of the GTC shall continue to apply. The affected parts are to be designed in such a way that the meaning of the GTC is maintained in its entirety. Legal gaps are to be closed by new articles, which correspond to the original will. If no agreement can be reached, the relevant provisions of Swiss law shall apply.

2. Obligations and Liability

camrigs.ch is concerned about the protection of customer data; the Privacy Policy applies. All claims for damages for damages arising from contract fulfilment, impossibility, tort, etc. are excluded, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Liability for consequential damages is excluded. camrigs.ch is not liable for lost data or programs.

All product information and data are without guarantee and are based exclusively on information provided to us by third parties. We endeavour to keep the information up to date on an ongoing basis, but cannot accept any liability for the completeness, correctness and up-to-dateness of this information. All performance and product specifications are approximate and may differ from the published values. Some of the product illustrations contain components that are only intended to explain the application and are not part of the scope of delivery.

3. Obligations and Liability of the Customer

All data and information obtained during the business relationship are to be treated confidentially by the customer. This does not apply to information of third parties, information already published or information in the secrecy of which both parties may have no interest.

The customer undertakes to pay for the delivered goods unconditionally in accordance with the terms of payment.

The customer is not entitled to act in our name or as our representative.

4. Prices and Conditions

The prices and conditions at the time of ordering apply. Prices can be adjusted at any time. Obviously incorrect price quotations are invalid and do not obligate us to sell at the erroneously published price.

For customers in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, all item prices are inclusive of statutory VAT. Other costs, such as shipping and packaging costs, surcharges per payment method, minimum order surcharges, etc. are also including VAT.

5. Orders

Our offer is subject to change without notice.

camrigs.ch can determine a minimum order value (value of goods). Orders below this minimum order value are subject to an additional charge.

The customer receives a confirmation of receipt of the order, which is non-binding. camrigs.ch reserves the right to refuse orders for reasons such as errors, unavailability, lack of creditworthiness, arrears in payment, etc.

Orders can be placed as a guest or registered customer. In any case, relevant, personal and payment-related information must be provided. In the event of registration, a username and password must also be provided, which are subject solely to the customer's duty of care; no liability is assumed for misuse.

6. Deliveries

Indicated delivery periods are approximate values and are not binding. If the ordered goods have not yet been delivered 30 days after expiry of the stated delivery period, the customer has the right to withdraw from the order in writing.

Partial deliveries are permitted, shipping costs are only charged once. Deliveries are made at the expense and risk of the customer. The customer can close transport insurance.

The customer undertakes to check the delivered goods immediately for completeness and freedom from damage. Damage must be reported to the carrier and in writing to camrigs.ch no later than 5 working days after receipt of the goods.

7. Returns and Return Deliveries

The customer has no general right of return or exchange in case of wrong order or displeasure. Under certain circumstances, a return can be agreed upon after prior, written registration and compliance with the return conditions. Returns can generally only be requested up to 10 working days after receipt of the goods.

Returns will only be accepted if the goods, including intact original packaging, original accessories and all supplements, are securely packed and correctly stamped and delivered to our address. Transportation, as well as any customs duties and handling fees, are at the expense and risk of the customer.

8. Terms of Payment

Only the payment methods listed in the shop are eligible for payment. Some payment methods may be subject to surcharges.

Payment on client invoice is only possible for accredited clients in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The customer must submit a written application for accreditation. We reserve the right to carry out credit assessments. For sales on customer invoice, the payment period is 30 days from the invoice date. The invoice amount is to be paid without deductions. In case of default of payment by the customer, camrigs.ch is entitled to issue reminders with a charge of 5% interest on arrears from the due date. When purchasing with credit cards or over electronic payment services, like PayPal par example, they are debited at the time of ordering.

When purchasing by prepayment, the order will only be executed upon confirmation of receipt of payment. There is no reservation of the ordered goods. Availability may have changed in the meantime.

Delivered goods remain the property of camrigs.ch until the invoice has been paid in full.

9. Guarantee and Warranty

The guarantee period and guarantee conditions depend on the respective manufacturer's guarantee. The manufacturer decides on the type of warranty service. Claims for damages or compensation for loss and expenses are explicitly excluded.

The warranty cannot be applied for if the defect has been caused by improper installation, use or maintenance, natural hazards, willful damage, falling, moisture, wear and tear, software problems or unauthorised interference with the goods.

Consumables such as batteries, lamps, wear parts, etc. are excluded from a guarantee.

10. Repairs

The return of defective goods must be reported in advance. Returns without our consent will be rejected. camrigs.ch will decide in consultation with the manufacturer on the replacement or repair of the defective goods. During the period of damage processing, the customer has no right to claim a replacement.

In the case of an exchange, camrigs.ch can insist on the return of the defective goods at its expense; these goods become the property of camrigs.ch. Repairs do not extend the warranty period.

11. Written Form

Special agreements outside these General Terms and Conditions and complaints must be made in writing. Notifications by letter, fax, e-mail and contact form meet the requirements of written form.

12. Law and Place of Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of camrigs.ch.
